Friday, Aug. 30
- Friday night football! Cheer on the Dublin High Gaels as they play Alameda High School at 7 p.m. at the Thompson Field. Get directions to the field here.
Saturday, Aug. 31
- Have you ever seen a caber toss? Now is your chance at the 148th Scottish Highland Gathering and Games are coming to the Pleasanton Fairgrounds. The event is Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 for a one day pass and $27 for a two day pass. Children ages 12 to 17 are $12; Seniors ages 65 and up are $12; Children age 11 & under are free. Parking is $8.
- Seed2sprout Learning Center is hosting an open house on Aug. 31 at 2 p.m. Seed@Sprout is located at 4288 Dublin Blvd. There is no cost to attend.
