The Fitness Formula

We are all obsessed about weight but how do you maintain that weight?

I have had people come to our club and their fitness goal is losing 10 - 20 pounds from the stomach area in a month and that's the biggest problem that we face today.

Having unachievable goals will lead to frustration and discontinuing any fitness regimen and without long term commitment and consistency any regimen will fail.
Think of it this way, 20- 30 -40 years are abuse cannot be undone with 1 month of fitness!
One must commit to their fitness and make it a part of their lifestyle to get the body that they always crave.
The simplest and most effective fitness formula is to Gain Muscle Mass% - which in turn leads to Improved Resting Metabolism - Which leads to lowing the BMI and weight loss occurs as a byproduct of the action above.
This weight loss is a sustainable weight loss which will not experience a bouce back that most experience after their dieting plans.
So the next time when you jump on the treadmill or elliptical to lose weight, understand that these machines primarily function to improve your cardiovascular level and no doubt they will help you burn the extra calories when you work out they are not as effective as building muscle mass and start burning extra calories even on the days when you are not working out.
Adding 5 pounds of muscle on your frame will help you burn an extra 250kcal a day plus if you are burning an additional 500cal in the gym thendo the math and creating a deficit of 750cal from you previous lifestyle is not too shabby.
When you think weight loss, think strength training first. One of the way you can make strength training fun and effective is by tracking the results of each workout to see how you are progressing. This powerful tool will help you stay motivated and push yourself harder.
At Koko FitClub, all your strength and cardio workout data is automatically recorded on your personal website that you can access from anywhere to monitor your progress.
