Police Log: Thefts; Phony Checks; Forgery; Fraud

Public input sought to I.D. area crooks, and more from March 17 to 23.

Dublin Police Services last week fielded several calls of theft-related fraud and forgery, plus numerous property thefts -- both grand and petty.

On a regional front, crime victims and law agencies, including the FBI, are seeking the public's help to possibly identify individuals suspected in recent copper thefts, bank robberies and burglaries, whose images or vehicles were captured on security cameras.

  • Pilot, 84, survives Livermore plane crash.

  • Grand theft from building on 7900 Cranford Lane logged 5:38 p.m.
  • Felony vandalism 8 p.m. 9400 Alcosta Boulevard.
  • Identity theft cases: 11:29 a.m. on 9500 Alcosta Boulevard; 4:52 p.m. 20700 San Ramon Valley Boulevard; credit-card fraud 2:46 p.m. on 2000 Canyon Lakes Drive.

Monday, March 18

  • Assault with deadly weapon and resisting arrest made of Dublin man, 31, 8:56 p.m. along 7800 Bristol Road.
  • Vehicle reported stolen 4:40 a.m. on 7500 Frederiksen Court.
  • Drunk-and-disorderly arrest of San Lorenzo woman 1:01 a.m. on the 6500 block of Cotton Wood Circle.
  • Burglary and criminal conspiracy arrests of two Daly City men, 25 and 24, 9:50 p.m. on 7000 Amador Plaza Road. One also charged with resisting arrest.
  • College Park, Ga. woman, 31, arrested on bench warrant 3:37 p.m.  Rolling Hills Drive at Rothschild Court.
  • Suspicious circumstances investigated 9:04 p.m. along 11600 Manzanita Lane.
  • Crocket female, 30, arrested 6:28 p.m. for use/influence of controlled substances and paraphernalia possession on 6200 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Vehicle towed overdue registration 9:31 a.m. on 6300 Dublin Boulevard.
  • Livermore man, 24, arraigned for Springtown golf course murder.
  • "Most Wanted" Oakland man "still wanted."

Sunday, March 17

  • Public intoxication arrests: Dublin male, 23, 10:06 p.m. Amador Valley Court at Cronin Circle;  Fremont man, 22, 12:17 a.m. on 4100 Grafton Drive, also charged with felony probation violation.
  • Burglary reported 7:24 p.m. on 4400 Tassajara Road.
  • Battery reported 7:50 p.m. on St. Patrick Way at Amador Plaza Road.
  • Discovery Bay man, 34, arrested for alleged assault with deadly weapon, public intoxication, sale/offer of switchblade knife at 1:26 a.m. on 7800 Amador Valley Boulevard.
  • Oakland woman, 40, cited 10:52 a.m. Clark Avenue at Dublin Boulevard for driving on suspended license and unlawful display of registration.
  • Noise complaint 9:12 a.m. Killian Street and Central Parkway.
  • Injury-accident 6:25 p.m. Dougherty and Old Ranch roads.
  • Vehicle towed overdue registration 9:53 p.m. Dublin Boulevard at Hacienda Drive.
