'Magical' Murray Lightens School Board Meeting

There was a bit of magic in the air at Tuesday evening's school board meeting, thanks to "magical" .

Dressed in purple, the school's color, dozens of students and staff attended the meeting to represent what they called "Magical Murray."

Jane Gleichauf, a fourth-grade teacher at the school, was recognized as an employee of the month. Classified employee Lisa Alvarez also earned that award.

Fourth- and fifth-grade students presented a musical performance. Watch the attached video to see the presentation.

Also at the meeting,  student Josephine Gao and student Allen West were honored for being selected as California State Honor Band members.
