The tour is named for the singer's new single of the same name.

Fans who attended could purchase a charity CD package for a $10 donation with all proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The charity CD package included an 8x10 photo and two songs— "Generation Love" and "Put Your Arms Around Someone", as well as an autograph.

"They both enjoyed her performance and said they couldn't wait to hear her CD in the car on the way home," said Thalblum.

She added: "We did talk about the fact that the proceeds went to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and the importance of giving to others. I would say that was the big takeaway from the event."

Organizers say the event raised thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
