Dublin High and Fallon Middle School Cheerleaders Rock Warriors Halftime Show

More than 300 Dublin residents attend the Warriors vs. Cavaliers game Friday night in support of Dublin cheerleading.

The Golden State Warriors and Dublin cheerleaders were both winners Friday night at the Oracle Arena.  Over 300 residents enjoyed performances by the Dublin High School and Fallon Middle School Cheerleading teams during the Warriors vs. Cavaliers halftime show.  Dublin Patch captured the behind-the-scenes preparation from backstage under the Arena and the halftime show from court-side for an almost as good as being there video (attached to this article).

The event was so successful that the Warriors have invited Dublin cheerleaders back - not just for one halftime show, but for two. Next year both the Spirit and Competition teams from Dublin High and Fallon will perform.

Both Dublin High and Fallon Middle School are known for their inclusive cheerleading programs that enable any student who is prepared to do the work, and meet the academic requirements, to become a cheerleader.

Dublin High School's Cheerleading Team and its inclusive policy were put in the spotlight last Fall when Dublin High senior Rachel Cooperstein was named Homecoming Queen (read more...).
